Right Side Brain Drawing - Igor Stravinsky

One of the assignments from Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain is to copy a Picasso drawing of Igor Stravinksy, but do it upside down. This (in theory) forces the left brain to give up and the right side of the brain to take over.

Here's my upside down version.

A view of that rightside up.

And Picasso's original.

Ha! that's great we did this one in school. The next semester (with a different prof.) we threw out this book and decided that instead of Right and Left brain we would simply draw with our brains!

Thats a brilliant drawing ..well done! I too drew this upside from a book I found in the house about the left and right side of the brain. Usually I cannot draw to save my life (havnt even got past the stick figure stage haha)so was shocked when I turned my drawing and the original one the right way round that they were quite similar!

Lol, I just did it in art class today. My teacer was like, "i can bet that most of you are going to walk out holding the right side of your head yelling that it hurts!" and guess what? she was right! but for me it was a regular drill. I have many other art classes, the one in school is just for fun. besides i am the t.a. for that class, not the student ^ ^
